The short version: we collect what we need to print your shirt, get it to your door, and email you if you asked us to. We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect, and why
- Your name, email, phone number and shipping address. Without these, nothing gets printed and nothing gets delivered.
- Your billing address. Used to verify your payment and to calculate sales tax.
- Your order history. So support can answer a question about order 1042 without asking you to describe the shirt.
- Your account login, if you choose to create one. Check out as a guest if you would rather not.
- How you use the site: pages viewed, what you added to your cart, which link brought you here, plus your browser type, device and approximate location from your IP address.
- Anything you type into the contact form, including whatever you tell us about your order.
We never see your full card number. Card and PayPal details go straight to our payment processor and are not stored on this website.
What we do with it
- Take payment, print your order, ship it, and email you the tracking
- Handle returns, refunds and support requests
- Send marketing emails and texts, but only if you opted in, and only until you opt out
- Work out which pages and designs people actually like, so we make more of those
- Detect fraud and keep the site secure
- Meet our tax and accounting obligations
Who else touches your data
Running a shop takes a handful of specialist services. Each one gets only the data it needs to do its job, and none of them may use it for their own purposes:
- Our payment processor (PayPal, which also handles card payments) takes your payment
- Our print and fulfillment partner (Printful) receives your name and shipping address so it can print and mail your order
- The carrier that delivers your package
- Our email platform (Klaviyo) sends order emails and, if you subscribed, marketing emails
- Analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, and the Meta pixel) show us how the site and our ads are performing
- Our affiliate platform (Goaffpro) credits the right partner when someone refers a sale
- Law enforcement or regulators, if we are legally required to hand something over
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your email address or phone number to anyone.
Cookies
Some cookies are the plumbing. They remember what is in your cart and keep you logged in. Turn those off and the shop stops working.
The rest are for analytics and advertising, and you can refuse them through the consent options on the site or in your browser settings. Declining them does not stop you buying anything.
How long we keep it
Order records stay as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is a number of years. Marketing contacts stay until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept in aggregate. Ask us to delete your account and we will, apart from the order records we are legally obliged to keep.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Show you the personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your data, within the limits above
- Stop sending you marketing, which you can also do yourself with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email
- Stop sharing your data with advertising platforms
Ask through the contact form and we will reply within 30 days. There is no charge, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we find out that we have, we delete it.
Other websites
We link out to other sites now and then. Once you follow one of those links you are on their ground and under their privacy policy, not this one.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we post the new version here and move the last updated date at the top. If a change is significant and you are subscribed to our emails, we will tell you directly.
SMS and text message terms
This section applies only if you signed up for our text messages. It is separate from everything above.
The FunnyWorkTees mobile message service (the “Service”) is operated by FunnyWorkTees (“FunnyWorkTees”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
By consenting to the FunnyWorkTees SMS messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from and on behalf of FunnyWorkTees through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if that number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, cart reminders and other marketing offers.
You do not have to sign up for this program to make a purchase, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase. Taking part is entirely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for any charges and fees your wireless provider applies to text messaging. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details.
To stop: text the single keyword STOP to +18888593771, or use the unsubscribe link in any text message where one is available. You will get a single confirmation text, and then nothing further unless you start it yourself. If you subscribed to other FunnyWorkTees message programs, you need to opt out of each one separately, except where the law says otherwise.

We may change the short code or telephone number used to operate the Service at any time, and we will notify you if we do. Any message you send to a number we have changed, including a STOP or HELP request, may not reach us, and we cannot be responsible for honoring requests sent that way.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to give us a valid mobile number. If you change your number, you will need to sign up again with the new one.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we are not liable for failed, delayed or misdirected delivery of anything sent through the Service, for errors in that information, or for any action you take or do not take in reliance on it.
